Here’s why Sasikumar’s film is titled MGR Magan
While we know that Sathyaraj plays an important part in Sasikumar’s MGR Magan, we’ve now learnt more about his role in the film. Director Ponram says, “Sathyaraj is playing a character called MG Ramasamy, and Sasikumar will be seen as his son. Their relationship is an important aspect of this film. Hence, the title! The scenes between him and Sasikumar will be among the film’s high points.” While Saranya plays Sasikumar’s mother, Samuthirakani will be seen as her brother.“Mirnalini Ravi has a strong character, too; she comes to the village where Sasikumar and his family stay for treatment. The film is set against the backdrop of Theni,” he informs.
