At the Audio and Teaser launch of his upcoming production venture Uriyadi 2, actor Suriya said: “Watching youngsters like Vijaykumar and other crew members of Uriyadi 2, I get to know that I’ve become senior now in the industry. What impressed me with this team is their passion and dedication for the art. This film will entertain and also create an emotional impact”.
The actor also said that he was surprised to know that Vijaykumar made Uriyadi and earned a name for himself without any industry background. The film’s director Vijaykumar who also plays the lead role in the film said: “I’m sure that Suriya sir hasn’t produced Uriyadi 2 for commercial reasons. He loves cinema and talented technicians. I hope his faith on us turns fruitful, the film will work for his sincerity and love”. Vijaykumar also heaped praise on his composer Govind Vasantha. “Even before the success of ’96’, I knew Govind Vasantha and we roped him for Uriyadi 2”. The event was quite crisp just like the teaser which indicates that the film talks about the necessity of students foraying into politics.
