Karthi’s #K19 is titled “Sultan” reveals his Co-star Rashmika Mandanna.!
Actor Karthi has quite a lot happening with his upcoming projects in his kitty among which he has the highly anticipated action gangster drama, Kaithi, under Lokesh Kanagaraj direction, and now a tentatively titled Karthi 19 with Remo director Bakkiyaraj Kannan, an untitled venture with director Jeethu Joseph and the biggie, the adaptation of Tamil writer Kalki’s Ponniyin Selvan under director Mani Ratnam’s direction. That said, filming on Karthi 19 being directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan is now underway with the film’s heroine, Rashmika Mandanna, revealing on her Instagram story that she has joined the sets with confirming the film’s title as Sultan, which has been reported for a while.
A sensation in Telugu cinema, Rashmika Mandanna will be making her acting debut in Tamil cinema in Karthi’s Sultan, which is being bankrolled by S.R. Prakash Babu and S.R Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures banner. Furthermore, Sultan, touted to be a comedy entertainer will also feature comedian Sathish, KGF star Ramachandra Raju and Ponnambalam in major supporting roles with music by Vivek-Mervin and cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan.
