Arun Vijay is a man on a mission in Agni Siragugal

The team of Agni Siragugal has released the character looks of all the actors in the film. And yesterday, Arun Vijay’s look from the film was released. Looking intense with blood on his face, Arun Vijay as Ranjith seems like a man on a mission.

According to director Naveen he says, “Arun Vijay and Vijay Antony are in a profession that involves violence. But their morals are different. And that’s what makes this action thriller different. Arun plays a carefree guy. There is no room for sympathy or sentiment in his life. His walk, smile and attitude are all laid-back. You can see the confidence in him when he approaches you. He carries that confidence because of his attitude.”

The team will begin their next schedule in January. “We will shoot in Kazakhstan by December end and will directly go to Europe from there in the first week of January,” says Naveen. They will also have to re-shoot portions that Shalini Pandey had played with Akshara Haasan now. “Since Akshara has replaced Shalini, we have to shoot those portions with her. I wrote the character Viji with Akshara in mind. Akshara’s role is as important as Vijay and Arun’s. She has a lot to do in the film.”

Naveen also says that the film has no love scenes. “There is no love angle and no scope for romance in the film. However, the story has a strong emotional connect. Vijay Antony and Akshara’s emotional journey is different from what Vijay and Arun share. The film will be philosophical, classy and stylish.” The team is planning for a summer release. “That’s the idea. Let’s see how it pans out,” he signs off.
