Director Ameer to play the lead in VZ Dhorai’s next titled “Naarkaali”!
After his acclaimed performance in Vetri Maaran’s Vada Chennai, director Ameer has been roped in to play the lead in VZ Dhurai’s new film. It’s said to be an action entertainer set against the backdrop of politics. A source tells us, “Ameer is politically active and is someone who speaks his mind on any issue, even in real life. And the lead character in this film is quite similar, and that’s why Dhorai was particular that Ameer act in this film.” The film is titled as #Narkaali, which will be set in Chennai, goes on floors today.
Director VZ Dhurai has been known for directing hit movies like Thala Ajith starrer Mugavari, Simbu’s Thotti Jaya, Vikram starrer Kaadhal Sadugudu and Bharath starrer Nepali to name a few. With his recent direction of Aemali starring Samuthirakani, VZ Dhurai has next directed with Sundar C starrer Iruttu, a horror flick also starring Dhanshika and Sakshi Choudhary is releasing on December 6.
