I feel more responsible when it comes to choosing projects now: Keerthy Suresh
Wishes have been pouring in for Keerthy Suresh, who won the National Award For Best Actress for her performance in Mahanati, a biopic on late actress Savitri. While she is happy to have won the award, Keerthy says that she’s now vested with more responsibilities. “I definitely feel more responsible when it comes to choosing projects now. I just hope my choices are right and they will help me travel in the right direction,” she says.
This probably explains why she’s being choosy when it comes to signing her next. For instance, she’s signed a women-centric film under Karthik Subbaraj’s production, to be directed by a newcomer Eashvar Karthic. “We should begin shooting from September or October,” she says. The actress is also excited about making her Bollywood debut in Boney Kapoor’s next with Ajay Devgn, which is a biopic on football player and coach Syed Abdul Rahim. She will play his wife in the film.
