Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the film follows on from Colin Trevorrow’s immensely successful first of the rebooted Jurassic Park trilogy which sees Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) return to the dinosaur-ridden Islar Nublar to save the creatures from an erupting volcano.

They’re joined by Justice Smith(Franklin)tech support and Daniella Pineda (Zia Rodriguez )pale veterinarian along with a private army hired by the man funding all this: Benjamin Lockwood (a warm, if under-used James Cromwell), a former partner of the original park founder John Hammond looking to right his wrongs. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission! But very soon, they stumble upon a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a dangerous situation as never before. This rescue operation has more objectives: most immediately selling the big beasties to the highest bidder in black market auction presided over by a leering Toby Jones and attended by the most generic villains the criminal underworld could spare that night.

The mass evacuation leads them to a secret dino zoo on the American mainland, where mad scientists are holding that smaller-meaner beastie hinted at in Jurassic World. The Indoraptor – a smaller, smarter version of the previous film’s Indominus Rex is the new genetically find of this film.

Unleashing the Indoraptor ends up in a great mess, then Blue shows in and ends the story. But Fallen Kingdom’s closing scenes seem intent on something far bigger.
Working with his usual DP, Oscar Faura, Bayona finds many opportunities to transform action beats into memorably beautiful visions. Trapped on the edge of the dying Isla Nublar.
