Tamil cinema industry has come across many talented filmmakers, who later became famous actors as well. This includes Manivannan, Manobala, Singampuli and many more. Now, director Saravana Sakthi, who was appreciated for his performance in few movies including Sasikumar’s Kuttipuli is back as a filmmaker now.
He started his directorial venture through the movie ‘Dhandayudhapaani’, which offered him good appreciations and recognitions. Later, he jointly directed a film with late actor Riteesh titled Nayagan that was commercially successful. After a short interval, he made his appearance as an actor through Sasikumar’s Kuttipuli, where Muthaiah introduced him in an important character. Following this, he was seen playing important roles in movies like Sandakozhi 2, Maruthu, Kodiveeran and even Dharmadurai. Currently, he is acting in movies like Maamanithan, Rana Singam, Aduththa Saattai, Walter and few more movies.
Despite gaining so much popularity as an actor, his passion for filmmaking offered him an opportunity to direct Billa Pandi that featured RK Suresh in lead role. Right now, he is holding talks with leading actors for his upcoming film and the pre-production work is going on full swing.
