Nayantara’s Mookuthi Amman goes on floors!
Much has been written about Nayantara-starrer Mookuthi Amman which is to be directed by RJ Balaji. A source says that the film commenced its shooting on Friday morning with a small ceremony which was held at Bhagavathi Amman Temple in Kanyakumari. Later, the movie went on floors at Nagercoil. The first leg of production, according to the source, will happen there and Nayantara is expected to join the crew soon.
Aval fame Girish Gopalakrishnan will be composing music for the project. Interestingly, he is the composer for Netrikann, another film of Nayan which has Aval director Milind Rau at the helm. Dinesh Krishnan of Thaanaa Serndha Koottam fame is cranking camera and Stunt Silva has been roped in to choreograph action sequences. Selva RK, who did a notable work in Mari Selvaraj’s Pariyerum Perumal, is in charge of editing. Divya Nagarajan and Anu Vardhan handle costume designing while Vijayakumar is the art director.
RJ Balaji, who will also be seen essaying a crucial character in the movie, has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for Mookuthi Amman. Ishari K Ganesh, who bankrolled recent films like LKG, Comali and Puppy, is the producer of the project.
