Sridevi passed away in Dubai on Saturday night after reportedly suffering from a cardiac arrest. The actress was in Dubai to attend a family wedding along with her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi. It’s being said that Sridevi’s body was found in the bathroom of her hotel room. Boney Kapoor’s spokesperson said yesterday that the family is in a complete state of shock and require a little personal space to deal with the news. It was earlier reported that Sridevi’s body would reach Mumbai on Sunday itself, however, due to delays in clearance, the body is expected to be flown into Mumbai in Mukesh Ambani’s private aircraft by evening today.
The latest reports suggest that the Dubai Police has handed over the letter of releasing the mortal remains of first female superstar of Bollywood to her family. The family is all set to bring her mortal remains back to India by today evening. The entire film industry along with members of the media, Sridevi’s family and fans are waiting for an opportunity to pay their last respects the soonest.
