TERRIFIC OPENING: NGK’S CHENNAI & TN BOX OFFICE COLLECTIONS ARE HERE!
Actor Suriya and director Selvaraghavan teamed up for NGK which saw the light of the day on May 31 and has opened well despite the mixed talk. The film starred Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads. Actors Bala Singh, Uma Padmanabhan, Ilavarasu and Ponvannan play crucial supporting roles.
The film’s music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja while Praveen K.L and Sivakumar Vijayan handle the editing and cinematography respectively. Produced by S.R Prabhu and S.R Prakash Babu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures, the film opened up to a terrific opening at the box office in the country and in the international market as well.
It is learned that the film has managed to rake in more than Rs 1 crore gross collections in Chennai City on the first day and around Rs 9 crores gross collections across all centers in Tamil Nadu alone. Now, isn’t that something amazing? The film has started off on a great note and we will have to wait to see how it will fare in the coming days!
