‘Thalapathy 64’ team heads to Shimoga schedule after completing shoot in Chennai.
We had earlier reported that the crew of Vijay’s upcoming film tentatively known as ‘Thalapathy 64‘ will have short shooting schedule in Chennai before they shift to Shimoga to can some crucial portions. The week long schedule in Chennai commenced yesterday and portions involving Vijay Sethupathi will be canned during this week.
The shooting of the film has been happening at a rapid pace in locations including Delhi. The team had wrapped a long schedule in Delhi recently. The next major chunk of work will be in Shimoga, Karnataka that will begin in the second week of this month.
‘Thalapathy 64’ is directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj who has managed the casting coup of bringing together Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi as protagonist and antagonist. Featuring a bevy of actors like Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu, Antony Varghese, Gauri Kishan, Sriman and others, the untitled project has Anirudh Ravichander composing the music and Sathyan Sooryan cranking the camera.
