Though Vishal credited Parthiepan as the major reason for the historic moment of Ilaiyaraaja and ARRahman sharing the same stage on ‘Ilaiyaraaja 75’, the veteran actor opted out of the felicitation event and he even quit his Vice President post in Tamil Film Producers Council.
In his recent video interview to Vikatan, Parthiepan has revealed that he wasn’t happy with Ramana and Nanda, two close aides of Vishal who didn’t listen to his suggestions in organizing the felicitation event. However, Parthiepan praised Vishal for organizing the grand event and also for constructing the new building for Nadigar Sangam. “But I didn’t like Vishal’s silence when Ramana told Ilaiyaraaja sir that he didn’t like my presence at the event”, said Parthiepan. In the same interview, Parthiepan also revealed that he will soon team up with Vadivelu for a new film.
